I have a 1987 Bayliner capri that needs some repairs. when I bought it it had a 305 sb and I thought that it was the same as a car engine. I purchased a chevy 305 from a 1987 chevy monte carlo and the waterpump doesnt match-up. Im not sure if its different or what. I also need a new carburetor for it. I am willing to trade my 1996 Honda civic HB for the repairs of my boat. The car has 55K on a new engine and has current emission and safety inspection. It also has Halo projection lights and an alarm system with remote start. I value this car at around 3,500. please send me an email if you are able to do this type of work and trade.

that's a lot of cold). The boat is warm and toasty in the colder months,

with electrical heating units that will come with the boat.

The spacious salon/living room has spectacular views of the Washington

monument as well. A small TV with DVD player, large comfortable

leather sofa, queen size bed with lots of storage space underneath,

and dresser are yours to keep if you wish. I put in beautiful hardwood

floors on the salon and reinforced the stringers for extra support.

There is a cuddy which makes for terrific storage; or a great place to

put unwanted (and preferably small) guests.

The majority of the lower deck was rebuilt. The lower and mid-decks

were painted last fall. Many of the stanchion bases were rebuilt and

all were re-bedded. If you want to take this boat out it's definitely

possible, but will take some more work.

Two weeks ago my wife and I took "Patience" from her dock at James Creek marina up the Potomac to above Georgetown. While motoring it got a bit chilly so we simply closed the forward doors, stopping the breeze and taking full advantage of her pilot house design. Anchored there, we enjoyed a picnic in the stern cockpit with some soft jazz playing on the CD while we looked at the fall leaves and a few passing sculls. Just about a perfect day on the water�.

"Patience" is a beautiful one-owner pilot house mini-trawler with 6'5" headroom. She is 24'7" in length, 8'6" wide, and draws only 18", so you can take her almost anywhere. New she would cost over $60K as equipped. She has a green hull with a cream coach house and a green canvas canopy on the stern. Patience is a walk-through design so that single-handing is easy. Docking is not dramatic and falling overboard is nearly impossible. She has extensive beautiful wood trim on the inside as you can see from the picture below, with a holly and teak cabin sole. She is powered by a Honda 50 with a little over 400 hours. The motor just had a major service in June 2008 a new water pump and impellor, as well as an oil change. While the motor was being serviced I had her bottom pressure washed. Patience sleeps two comfortably, but can accommodate three. Her equipment list is extensive and includes:, a dual alcohol/110 V stove, dual 12V/110V fridge, an enclosed head, pressure water with a new in-line pump installed in June 2008, a sink and two showers (and an additional solar shower you can mount on the coach roof), Garman GPS with depth sounder, magnetic compass, AM/FM/CD with dual speakers, marine VHF, full CG equipment, 2 folding bikes that fit in the stern cockpit, an electric bilge pump, a danforth anchor with chain and 100' of line, dock lines, full running lights, anchor light (with a spare D-cell battery back up) two fenders, an electric heater for dockside and a propane heater for underway, full custom green canvas privacy curtains, new dual marine batteries installed in Oct 08 with installed charger, a backup jump starter battery pack, shore power cable, a folding boarding ladder, etc, etc. She's got everything you need for boating on the Chesapeake or the Potomac. Because she is a pilot house you can use her all year, enjoying the water, warm and dry while everyone else has had to call it quits for the season. Best of all, she only burns 1.5 GPH at cruise!!!! My wife and I love her, but just don't have time to use her enough. Before we moved to DC we would take her out for a week at a time on the Chesapeake and explored many areas up and down the Bay.

I always (the few times, as this might have 10 total minutes of run time on it) ran all the gas out so there will be no problems. Kept inside in my house. BRAND NEW!!!! Look at pictures. Save over $600. Compare at Washington Marina more than $1800 with the tax. Light 60 pounds. Well, looks like craigslist is having problems @ this point so I will upload images shortly.....
